Recently as part of a men’s small group I am involved were presented with the question, “What is your Vision for 2024?” While I liked the question I was not too keen on needing to respond to it in such a quick turn around time. I like to think, ponder and really reflect. Without much time to really contemplate a thorough answer, I shared my recent reflections on my self-righteous and critical heart as written about in an earlier post.
As the new year was approaching quicker, I had not forgotten the question. In addition I had found myself highly embattled with dissatisfaction, restlessness, loneliness, emptiness, and the usual emotions that trap me and then allure me to sinful desires.
Create in me a clean heart, a truly transformed heart – that is my vision and desire! How? Recognizing that it is only by the grace and love of God that my heart can be truly transformed my mind tracked to the fruits of the Spirit. I recall many a preacher sharing how the fruits of the Spirit is the evidence of a transformed heart.
Galations 5: 22 But the fruit of the Spirit is love, joy, peace, patience, kindness, goodness, faithfulness, 23 gentleness, self-control; against such things there is no law.
I wanted to read the entire Chapter in order to get the full context. I was encouraged and challenged as I considered the Vision for 2024 He was putting on my heart!

Vision 2024
My heart has been stirred for 2024 may yours be as well. Take time to read and reflect on where God may be prompting you to grow in 2024; perhaps it is found in Galations 5 as well. More to come!
